The Oath Workshop. Explained.
-
The Oath workshop is a ZERO-BS interactive experience that teaches a model to approach allyship for planet, inclusion, and adventure. During the workshop, you’ll reflect and create a unique action plan to help you unlearn, learn and be in community with other aligned outdoorists.
We allow interested individuals to enter a free lottery for the opportunity to register for the Workshop with the hopes of making access to this educational model more equitable for more communities.
-
The 1.5h Oath workshop will provide you with both a trail map and a personalized compass for you to take action for people and planet.
After the workshop, you will have the opportunity to sign The Outdoorist Oath and be a part of our community with access to continuing education.
-
The founders of The Oatdoorist Oath, Teresa Baker, José González, and Pattie Gonia have devised The Oath workshop and will be facilitating all initial workshops.
Over time, we’ll train more Oath teachers in the community and we hope to see our members (hopefully YOU) facilitate workshops in the near future.
P.S. Our founding team brings a collective 30-so years of consulting with brands around their sustainability and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives alongside a diverse educational background. Learn more about them by clicking here

We recommend you have a way of taking notes ready at the top of the workshop. Also, if you are able to join us via a computer with an updated Zoom app, you’ll have the best experience. We have also created a Workbook which we’ll share via a Google Doc template before and during the presentation. So, having access to a free Gmail account or Word Processor can also enhance your experience.
