4 Resources to Help You Practice Self Care

We understand that election season is overwhelming for a lot of reasons. Thus, we want to offer resources to support you as you navigate the current political climate. We hope these resources will be useful to you and yours.

Boundaries and Vulnerability Stretch Session

We loved practicing self care in this Stretch Session with Tianna Arredondo. Now available on our free online Stretch Hub, you can use this Session as a guide through embodied self care exercises.

ABC’s of Rest and Restoration OATHmeal

Our latest OATHmeal cooked up by founder José Gonzalez takes us through the steps towards healthy, balanced restorative justice. This easy 10 min read is the perfect way to start your day and helps align yourself towards systemic change.

Sustainable Solidarity

Earlier this year, we wrote a short guide on how to pace your solidarity work to help you sustainably engage in advocacy. We believe this guide can continue to help you as you navigate this election season.

Upcoming Stretch Session on Accountability

Join us and Ki’Amber Thompson November 19th for a timely Stretch Session to explore accountability in our lives and movements from an abolitionist lens. This workshop will begin with a brief introduction to why abolition theory and practice are relevant for environmental/climate justice movements, and then will focus on learning about accountability for our lives and movements. In a world that is experiencing multiple social and environmental crises, we need to develop skills and practices that will help us build cultures of care and sustainability.
